Hospice YE Rally - Twin County Young Eagles

On June 29, 2007, EAA Chapter 1426 conducted a Young Eagles Rally at Twin County Airport for kids who had lost loved ones. This was provided for the Twin County Hospice Wings of Love Camp. Five volunteer pilots donated their time and airplanes for this event. They were Tim Brown, Jody Early, Dr. Tom Littrell, Bill Bryant and Bob Steele. Thirty five children who attended the Hospice camp were given free flights and six children from Corey Hawks summer school class at Woodlawn School received free flights, too. After the flights, a delicious picnic was enjoyed by all at the beautiful home of Jim and Betty Ward. Pictures of the event are displayed at this site.
